Following its reduced presence in season 1, Percy Jackson & The Olympians executive producer Becky Riordan offers a promidate for The Big House's season 2 appearance. The first season of the Disney+ series brought the first novel in Rick Riordan's fantasy series to the streaming service, adapting the events of The Lightning Thief. With the series being considered a success, the second novel, The Sea of Monsters, is set to be adapted in Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2, with key casting completed and filming already underway.
With season 2 roughly a month into filming, Riordan has hinted at how the next season will expand Camp Half-Blood when responding to a viewer's critique.
As one fan shared their desire to see more of Camp Half-Blood's The Big House after looking at concept art for the building, Riordan explained how production issues kept it from receiving too much focus in season 1. Despite this, Riordan also hinted at an impressive set having been constructed for season 2, of which she is currently on location during filming.
What Is The Big House?
Camp Half-Blood's istration Building Holds Many Dark Secrets.
The buildings' more supernatural elements have already been glimpsed within the first season of the Disney+ series.
Within the world of Percy Jackson & The Olympians, the Big House is the istration building for Camp Half-Blood, and a large, bright sky-blue building that houses many of the vital elements to keeping the safe haven for demigods functioning. Alongside Chiron's (Glynn Turman) office and apartment, the building also houses the camp's infirmary, a rec room and storage. It's the buildings' more supernatural elements, though, that have already been glimpsed within the first season of the Disney+ series that will be important going into season 2.
While a glimpse at the building's full exterior may not have been seen in Percy Jackson & The Olympians season 1, Percy (Walker Scobell) ventured into the attic to visit the mummified Oracle of Delphi (Jennifer Shirley) ahead of embarking on his quest. Though he may have been somewhat unsettled by the prediction, the later events of the series would see Percy and others ask for guidance on their quests. However, as time ed for Percy, the secrets of the Oracle would be revealed, including its past and tragic links to Luke Castellan's past (Charlie Bushnell).

10 Most Exciting Things To Expect From Percy Jackson Season 2
Percy Jackson season 2 promises to include exciting new characters and storylines, including Percy rescuing Blackjack and Annabeth meeting Circe.
For Percy Jackson & The Olympians season 1, it may be understandable why the Big House wasn't seen at this point. With both construction issues and the series having to prove itself as a hit for Disney+, it may have been easier for the studio to avoid creating a large on-screen asset. As such, Riordan's latest update is not only good news for those wanting to see the setting brought to life, but shows that Disney may be eager to keep Percy Jackson & the Olympians going beyond its current renewal.
