PGA Tour 2K23 is the latest installment in 2K’s series that’s perfect for golfing enthusiasts and sports game fans alike. The title includes enhanced controls, new modes, additional tools for course designer, a customizable MyPlayer that s can take all the way to championship finals, and more. Tiger Woods is featured on the game’s cover art and is one of many pro golfers that will be playable in PGA Tour 2K23. Players can even go against the golfing icon in the game’s MyCareer mode. Besides Woods, there are a number of other pro golfers that players can compete against or control themselves.
This iteration of the series is especially significant for not only PGA Tour 2K23 cover athlete Woods, but fans of the athlete as well. It’s been nearly a decade since the pro appeared on a cover of a video game. Woods wouldn’t just be the game’s poster boy though, he also took the role of executive director, providing 2K’s team with his extensive knowledge and experience throughout his career.
Besides Woods, other sports icons will be featured in the game, but not one's players may initially expect. By pre-ordering or getting any of the special editions of PGA Tour 2K23, players will be able to golf with NBA legend Micheal Jordan. Unexpectedly, another surprise NBA star is coming to the game as well. Making two 2K game appearances this year, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will also be available. For the first time, on PGA Tour 2K23's iconic golf courses, players can pit the likes of Micheal Jordan and Steph Curry against pros like Tiger Woods, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, and others.

2K has confirmed that additional pro golfers will be added to the roster after its launch, but so far no reveals have been made. That being said, with PGA Tour 2K23 being playable right now, it's only a matter of time before an announcement is made about which golfers will be making their way to the game. In addition to players, new courses will be added as well. Players worried about being locked out of the content due to paid DLC can breathe easy. Any new golfers or courses that come to the game after launch will be available for free.
In PGA Tour 2K23’s different modes like MyCareer, Exhibition, Divot Derby, and Multiplayer, players can use or compete against all pro golfers listed on the roster. With inclusions like Micheal Jordan and Stephen Curry, it wouldn’t be a shock if other sports celebrities are added to the game down the line. At the moment only NBA stars have been added, but there is potential for NFL or MLB players to the roster in the future.
