Quentin Quire debuted in 2002's New X-Men #134 by Grant Morrison, Keron Grant, and Norm Rapmund, as part of a new class of students at Xavier's School for Gifted Children. He is a powerful psychic mutant with bright pink hair who quickly formed a student gang around him, calling themselves the "Omega Gang." Quire - under the influence of the drug Kick and villain Sublime - led the "Xavier School Riot" which accidentally caused the death of his crush Sophie Cuckoo, and started his years long quest for redemption and acceptance by the X-Men.

Yet, Quintavius Quire has proved time and time again that death is just a phase for him, returning to life several times throughout his history, sometimes due to the Phoenix Force and sometimes seemingly of his own will and accord. his battle with Cerebrax, so it is safe to assume that his "death" sent his psyche somewhere, and that the powerful mutant will be returning to the island of Krakoa sooner rather than later.

Kid Omega of the X-Men and more recently X-Force has a long and complicated history with death and resurrection, and even though his Cerebro backups have been wiped it stands to reason that his connection with the Phoenix Force may provide the perfect chance for Quentin Quire to return to comics in a big way.
