WARNING: Contains Potential Spoilers for PLASTIC MAN NO MORE! #2!This Justice League hero may have once walked a fine line between right and wrong, but killing was never part of his playbook—until now. Known for his easygoing, lovable nature, this fan-favorite has crossed a shocking line, claiming the lives of not one, but six fellow heroes. And if he achieves his ultimate goal, the body count among DC’s greatest could climb even higher.
Christopher Cantwell and Jacob Edgar are back with the second installment of their Plastic Man No More! series, where Patrick “Eel” O’Brian continues his quest to cheat death after learning that he is "depolymerizing," or, in simpler , "coming apart."
After some "hypothetical" conversations with an expert scientist, Patrick discovers his only hope of keeping his unique physiology intact is to create a "fusion reaction of incredible magnitude"—which means he needs to build a massive nuclear bomb and be at the center of its detonation. Issue #2 marks the first six casualties in Plastic Man’s mission of survival: The Metal Men.

“Wow. You Killed Them. You Killed Them All.” - Uranium About His Brothers & Sister
In Plastic Man No More! #2, Plastic Man discovers that the Metal Man Uranium is the only source of uranium large enough to fuel the nuclear bomb needed to reverse his depolymerization. To obtain him, Patrick enlists his longtime friend, Woozy, to help "rescue" Uranium from his captor, No-Face, who also seeks to build a bomb. Plastic Man then approaches the other Metal Men—Gold, Iron, Lead, Mercury, Tin, and Platinum—to offer his help in freeing Uranium. However, the mission/kidnapping turns disastrous when Plastic Man accidentally dumps all the Metal Men, except Uranium, into a molten pot, where they begin to melt.
As he watches his siblings melt away, Uranium's chilling words, "Wow. You killed them. You killed them all," unmistakably mark Plastic Man's transformation into a killer. His actions—carried out under the guise of a rescue—have led to the deaths of six well-loved heroes. These deaths, however, are not just tragic—they serve as a grim foreshadowing of more casualties to come. Plastic Man’s plan is dangerously reckless, and the threat of further destruction looms large. With the nuclear bomb still on the horizon, it’s clear that more lives—be it heroes or innocent civilians—could be caught in the fallout.

DC Shoots Down the Justice League in 5 Perfect Insults (& 1 Compliment for Batman)
DC is again taking a shot at their characters, with sick burns being delivered to Superman, Aquaman, and more (only Batman avoids utter annihilation).
Uranium Claims the Metal Men Are Dead–Batman/Superman: World’s Finest Says Otherwise
Plastic Man May Not Be a Killer After All–But He’s Definitely Still a Jerk
While Uranium’s "You killed them" statement seems final, there may be more to the Metal Men’s "deaths" than meets the eye. In Batman/Superman: World's Finest #14 by Mark Waid, fans saw the Metal Men in a similar situation where they were completely melted in a molten pot, only to be restored and fully functional in the following issue. Thus, despite their current melted state in Plastic Man No More!, it’s likely the Metal Men can be restored once removed from the pot, potentially saving Plastic Man from his newly earned reputation as a killer.
