The wait for some solid PlayStation 5 will be released during the 2020 holiday season, but we still know very little about the system, outside some of the controller gimmicks.

Sony has been taking its sweet time when it comes to revealing new information about the PlayStation. The company treated the Xbox Series X, which we know way more about. There have been lots of leaks regarding the appearance of the PlayStation 5, but we still haven't had a clear look at the final version of the system.

It seems that the months of leaks and speculation are drawing to a close. According to the PlayStation Canada Twitter , there will be a video tomorrow showing off the PlayStation 5's system architecture. The video will feature lead system architect Mark Cerny, who will give fans their first proper look at the system's capabilities and how it will affect games. The video will be broadcast on the PlayStation Blog on March 18, at noon EST.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of a similar Xbox Series X hardware specifications reveal video, where we got a look at just how fast the new Xbox will be. It now falls to Sony to prove whether its system is the stronger of the two machines. Then again, the sales winner in each console war wasn't always the strongest system. A PlayStation 5 that is weaker than the Xbox Series X could still sweep the board with appealing features and a killer library of exclusives.

There have been fears that the PlayStation 5 will be delayed due to the coronavirus and the production issues it has caused in China. There are also concerns regarding the price of the system, with some analysts stating that the expensive components of the PlayStation 5 could push it into the five hundred dollar mark. We can only hope that tomorrow's reveal will put these fears to rest. Sony has slowly been building up hype for the PlayStation 5, but there comes a time when the company needs to stop hinting and start releasing facts, and tomorrow's video could give us a clearer picture of what to expect from the PlayStation brand in the future.
