Hermen Hulst, the head of PlayStation Studios, recently confirmed that certain PlayStation-exclusive games will continue to release on PC years after their console release. Hulst, previously Guerrilla Games' managing director and co-founder, assumed control of PlayStation Studios back in 2019. PlayStation Studios is a group of Sony-owned video game studios that includes popular developers such as Naughty Dog, Insomniac Games, and Sucker Punch Productions.

Sony has released a number of highly successful PlayStation-exclusive titles in recent years, giving the brand a distinct advantage against competitors Microsoft and Nintendo. Titles such as releases for PlayStation 5 owners, as two exciting exclusive titles are set to release. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the long-awaited next chapter in Insomniac's platformer shooter series, while Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade will enhance the well-received remake from 2020 with current-generation graphics and a brand-new piece of content.

Hulst's assurance that certain exclusive titles will eventually reach PC ensures that these games reach a wide audience, while the fact that they will always launch on consoles still increases the value of purchasing a PlayStation console.
