The official Pokémon Center retailer has cute new expensive Star Wars franchise merchandise.

As listed on the Pokémon Center, 10 new finger puppets are now available for purchase. The item listing says, "Ready the spotlight—it’s time for a Pokémon puppet show!" The exact dimensions of the finger puppets vary slightly since they are of 10 different Pokémon which all have different heights, weights, and widths. The 10 finger puppets available are: Charmander, Pikachu, Slowpoke, Squirtle, Pancham, Bulbasaur, Munchlax, Croagunk, Shellder, and Meowth. Each one is priced at $12.99.

Accessories For Accessories

According to a report from Fashionista, the era of "chaotic customization" is here. Instead of a clean, minimalist approach, younger people are trending towards maximizing their dressing and accessory styling with as many additional pieces as possible, leaving little room for simple color or designs. This trend tends to see people adding pop sockets, beads, jewelry, stickers, and all kinds of other decorations to their accessories, like backpacks, phone cases, purses, headphones, and more.

It's not currently known how long these new finger puppets will be available, but they should be up for a while, as long as supplies last. Pokémon Center isn't an exclusive club and the store's new finger puppets don't appear to be a limited-run item, unlike the extremely limited Assassin's Creed Shadows Anti Social Social Club exclusive merch shop earlier this year. These new items appear to be complements of the Pokémon Center's selection of full-sized hand puppets.

Our Take: These Finger Puppets Are Neat

More Merch For Different People

The giant Jigglypuff, covered in strange markings.

Being able to rock a t-shirt with your favorite game on it or wear a backpack adorned with pins from your favorite anime is always a cool thing to be able to do. While I am not certain many people will use thing finger-puppets for their intended purpose (being puppets), a lot of Pokémon fans will surely go crazy for these items, if even just to have another bag accessory. Additional Pokémon parallel-paired keychains were made available earlier this year, so it seems like Pokémon may have a virtually endless pool of merch ideas to pick from.

Pokémon remains one of the largest IPs in history. It's hard to meet anyone who has not heard of the franchise and at least a few of the iconic creatures. With these finger puppets, there will be yet another Pokémon styling choice for fans, which will probably lead to more discussion among long-time fans and franchise newcomers, and that is always appreciated.
