Finneon is one of the Pokemon getting a Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can prepare for this event. Pokemon Go continues to provide new challenges for its player base to enjoy. For starters, the Spotlight Hour is an event that happens once per week and focuses on a single Pokemon. For 1 hour, this specific Pokemon will have its spawn rate increased and it comes along with an additional bonus that players will want to capitalize on. Even if the player isn't interested in the Pokemon, they should be interested in those bonuses. This guide will show players how they can prepare for the Finneon Spotlight Hour.

For starters, Finneon's Spotlight Hour will take place on April 27th from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. During this time, Finneon will have its spawn rate drastically increased. Not only that, but players will be able to earn twice the amount of XP for capturing Pokemon of any species. This is a great way for players to build up their experience, especially for those still trying to make it to level 40. This guide will show players everything they need to do for the Finneon Spotlight Hour.

How To Prepare For The Finneon Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go

Here are a few things players should do for the Finneon Spotlight Hour.

  • Clean Out Your Storage: Make sure to transfer any unwanted Pokemon from your storage before the event begins. It would be a shame if your storage was full in the middle of the event.
  • Lucky Egg: This is one of the best times to use a Lucky Egg. Since spawns will be increased and the game is providing double XP for captures, this will raise it to x4. This is the best thing to come out of this event so make sure to not miss out.
  • Star Piece: While the XP is the major factor for this event, gathering Stardust is also helpful so make sure to use a Star Piece.
  • Aim for 50 Candy: Finneon only needs 50 Candy to evolve into Lumineon. It shouldn't be too hard if the player uses a Pinap Berry with every capture.

Spotlight Hours will continue to happen throughout the rest of the year. This covered the final Spotlight Hour to happen in April. More Spotlight Hours will likely be announced in the future. For now, make sure to take advantage of each of them when they arrive.
