There is a way to get Space-Time Distortions faster in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Space-Time Distortions are a unique mechanic in Arceus where a wormhole will open randomly around the map. After a while, it will begin to spawn rare items and Pokémon from different timelines. It's a great way to get classic Kanto Pokémon or fossil Pokémon required for the Pokédex. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to track how often Space-Time Distortions in Arceus spawn - at least at first.
Arceus' Space-Time Distortions are unlocked after the player defeats the Noble Pokémon Kleavor. The trainer will then gain access to Crimson Mirelands and all the new Pokémon and stories it has to offer. A text notification will appear on the screen whenever a Space-Time Distortion is triggered, and will display the exact location where the Space-Time Distortions spawn. Now, players will just need to wait and be patient.

Triggering Space-Time Distortions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
To get Space-Time Distortions to spawn faster in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the player will need to do as little as possible. Whenever the player loads into an area for the first time, it's determined when a Space-Time Distortion will happen internally. Attempting to leave the area will reset this timer, potentially pushing it back even farther. The best thing to do would be to sit by a campsite and wait patiently. Don't interact with the world, NPCs, or any of the game's hundreds of Pokémon.
It's important to mention that the overworld time and the battle time are entirely different in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. This means whenever a player enters a battle, it does not change the time outside the battle. To keep time progressing, the player should avoid all wild Pokémon encounters in Crimson Mirelands. Just set down the controller and wait for one of Arceus' Space-Time Distortions to happen. This might seem odd, but the player can affect the game differently with their actions, even if they don't mean to.
After every five minutes, the game will do an internal check where a Space-Time Distortion can appear. Just wait it out, and it will eventually appear on the map. Make sure to pay attention to when the text appears to prevent missing out on it. These Space-Time Distortions are the only way to get a handful of rare Pokémon and the materials for crafting Star Pieces in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, so it's helpful to try and enter these as often as possible.
