Pokémon Scarlet & Violet offers players several story paths which they can follow to complete various missions. The Path of Legends requires the defeat of five Titans; the False Dragon Titan, the Lurking Steel Titan, the Open Sky Titan, the Quaking Earth Titan, and the Stony Cliff Titan. Once the Titans have been defeated, the Herba Mystica will be left unguarded, hence allowing players to collect the item.

Herba Mystica is a rare item that can be transformed into a sandwich. Depending on the version of the game, this item can be used to power up Miraidon or Koraido, the new Generation 9 Legendaries. The power-ups will allow these Pokémon to jump higher and scale cliffs. Additionally, the Pokémon can learn the ability to swim, glide, and dash.

The False Dragon Titan in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, also known as Tatsugiri, appears after players have interacted with Dondozo. Dondozo is a Water-type and can be defeated using Electric- or Grass-type Pokémon. Tatsugiri is both a Dragon- and Water-type, which can be defeated using Dragon- or Fairy-type moves against it.

The Lurking Steel Titan, which is known as Orthworm, is a Steel-type Pokémon that can be defeated using Fighting- and Fire-type Pokémon. Note that ground-type moves are futile due to Orthworm's ability to absorb Ground-type moves as hit points.

The Open Sky Titan is known as Bombirdier. Because Bombirdier is a Dark- and Flying-type Pokémon, it can be taken down using Electric-, Fairy-, Ice-, or Rock-type abilities against it. Note that Electric- and Rock-type Pokémon are preferred while Bug- and Fighting-type Pokémon should be avoided when battling Bombirdier.

Players confronting the Quaking Earth Titan will either have to defeat Great Tusk or Iron Treads. The Titan in which they face is dependent on which version of the game is being played.

Great Tusk, which is in Scarlet, is a Fighting- and Ground-type Pokémon. This Pokémon can be defeated using Fairy-, Flying-, Grass-, Psychic, or Water-type abilities. Iron Treads, which is in Violet, is a Ground- and Steel-type Pokémon. Fighting-, Fire-, Ground-, and Water-type Pokémon can defeat this Titan.

Finally, the Stony Cliff Titan, which is also known as Klawf, is a Rock-type Pokémon. Rock-type Pokémon can be defeated using Pokémon with Fighting-, Grass-, Ground-, Steel-, and Water-type Pokémon.

It is critical to note that Titans are not only stronger than typical Pokémon, but also larger. Therefore, players are encouraged to bring their best team to combat. It is also important to note that no less than three of the Titans are weak to Fairy-, Fighting-, Grass-, and Water-type Pokémon. Once the five Titans are defeated, a total of five different Herba Mysticas will be obtained. Once made into sandwiches, a player's Pokémon will gain five new abilities. These abilities will assist in the battle with Arven that is to follow this quest in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
