The brand-new set for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Mythical Island just recently came out. This new set provides players everywhere with over 80 new cards to collect and battle with, allowing them to add to their collections from the previous Genetic Apex set. Out of all the new cards that were introduced, Celebi ex has certainly caught the most attention online.
Celebi ex was the only card in Mythical Island to get an immersive card, making the total number of immersive cards in the game equal to five. Despite this, many people are ecstatic that this card exists for such a beloved mythical Pokémon, and they are hoping to get their hands on it as soon as possible. There are multiple reasons as to why this card is particularly sought after, and those reasons are sure to entice both collectors and battlers alike.
The Celebi Ex Immersive Card Is Beautiful
A Captivating Illustration That's Straight Out Of A Fairy Tale
Much like the other immersive cards in TCG Pocket, the artwork in Celebi ex's immersive card is truly a beautiful, eye-catching spectacle to behold. The scene shows Celebi floating over a vast expanse of water covering the forest floor, glancing over at the viewer as if beckoning them to follow after it. As the camera zooms out away from Celebi, it reveals numerous other Pokémon that are present in the forest alongside it, including Cramorant, Chatot, and more, including a Mew that floats by for a split second.

New Pokémon TCG Pocket Promo Cards Tease Future Events, But Some Fans Have Found One Major Issue
Several new Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket cards have appeared, which tease some events that should be familiar to players.
This artwork truly gives off a magical feeling, like it's straight out of a mystical fairy tale. The beautiful sunlight and floating orbs of light throughout the forest help to illuminate the beautiful green colors in the trees, while also helping to illuminate Celebi as the center focus of the art piece. With how stunning this illustration is, it is no wonder as to why countless collectors want to get their hands on this card as soon as possible.
Celebi Ex's Attack Is Incredible When Combined With Other Cards
The Start Of An Immensely Powerful Grass-Type Deck
Celebi ex also has a very useful attack called Powerful Bloom, which has the player flip a coin for every energy attached to Celebi, allowing them to deal 50 points of damage for each heads. When combined in a deck with Serperior and its Jungle Totem ability, Celebi can flip a coin twice for every singular energy attached to it. This, ultimately, will allow players to potentially deal even more damage all at once, potentially knocking out even some extremely powerful ex cards, making this combination a huge threat to opponents.
Jungle Totem, unfortunately, does not stack, so a player cannot use two Serperior to grant Celebi four energy during a turn.
Ultimately, Celebi ex has a lot of great details that will surely catch the attention of both the avid collectors and TCG battlers. On top of having some truly stunning artwork in its immersive card, it also has a very useful attack that will surely become a part of an iconic Grass-type deck in the coming days. Anyone who plays Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket should absolutely keep an eye out for this card, whether it be during battle or when opening packs.
