Now, it's been announced (via Variety) that Gordon-Levitt will once again be reunited with regular collaborator Johnson in the Peacock series, Poker Face, where he will star alongside Lyonne. Details regarding the Inception actor's role in the series are being kept a secret for the time being. As for the story, it's been said that the show will follow a procedural format, with each episode seeing Lyonne’s character working to solve different murders.
Since Johnson's directorial debut with the 2005 mystery-thriller film, Brick, Knives Out 2, which is expected to drop on Netflix later this year. The pair have formed a significant bond over the last two decades, and the above announcement guarantees that audiences and fans of the duo will reap the benefits of another successful collaboration when Poker Face eventually drops on Peacock.
