Mommy Long Legs can be heard at the very end of the trailer, gleeful over the arrival of a new playmate in the depths of the factory. Since Poppy Playtime Chapter 2's original release in May, many have braved the stretchy doll's lair. This new release invites both those players and mobile-only gamers to face their fears of Playtime Co.'s living toys once more. At the same time, with many media outlets and even schools recently issuing warnings about Huggy Wuggy, it seems that many parents may need to be wary of the spike in Poppy Playtime-related media this release will doubtlessly inspire.

The iOS and Android release will come as exciting news for many fans of Poppy Playtime. Mobile releases provide both accessible alternate versions of games and an opportunity to replay a popular title. With Chapter 3 currently in development for PC, this will also serve as a way to drum up extra interest for the game whilst tiding over existing fans. Meanwhile, it appears that MOB Game's well-known and extensive merchandising efforts may be paying off in the near future.
