Fans are giving a recent and extremely impressive Poppy Playtime fan theories, just like what FNAF inspired. But this new cosplay is totally unexpected yet still astonishing.
As seen on Reddit, a fan with the name spyderpool has created an uncanny cosplay of The Player, the main protagonist and playable character of Poppy Playtime. The Player is never seen in-game and is a faceless yellow mannequin. Obviously, the cosplayer has a face, but that makes this cosplay even more impressive: it's based on a character that only has colors and a few features to base a design off of. Fans were impressed, with OverDifference saying: "This is awesome!!!! I love the little details as well. 10/10 no notes[.]"

The response to the cosplay has been overwhelmingly positive. The post went up two days ago and has over 2,000 upvotes. The yellow jumpsuit, blue and red gloves, and the general "vibe" of the cosplay have seen particular praise. The cosplayer also took it a step further, adding the iconic Poppy to his shoulder, which a lot of fans love, with MlogeeBobee saying: "I absolutely love the Poppy on your shoulder, that’s the best part."

Most cosplays are based around characters that have a face, hair design, accessories, specific clothes, or other notable parts of a character design. The Player, at first glance, might be one of the least likely choices for a cosplay. Other Poppy Playtime characters and creatures have been cosplayed before, like fan-favorite Yarnaby from Poppy Playtime Chapter 4: Save Haven, but the creativity it takes to cosplay The Player is commendable, and fans are echoing that sentiment all over Reddit.

Poppy Playtime has a plethora of characters and creatures for fans to attempt cosplays of, from four different chapters. The characters and toys are mostly colorful and have child-like designs. Some fans can make a big furry suit and dress up as CatNap, and then others are getting a bit more creative with their choice of characters to cosplay.
No matter what choices fans make for cosplay, Poppy Playtime seems to have almost endless potential. With a fan recreation as clever as this Player one, and given how popular the game is, we may still be at the beginning of seeing impressive and creative Poppy Playtime cosplays.
