Bethesda Softworks recently announced an appealing bundle called Arkane 20th Anniversary Collection, which includes 2017's Deathloop.
Deathloop was announced at E3 2019 as one of several action titles in development with a time-distorting gameplay twist. The project is focused on two assassins who are trapped in a never-ending loop of violence on an island they can’t escape. Simply put, the island’s inhabitants cannot die, because each time they face death, some strange force brings them back to life to the brutal confrontation over and over again. As of yet, Deathloop doesn’t have a specific release date.
The pillars of Arkane 20th Anniversary Collection, announced by all the Dishonored games along with the resurrected Prey. Dishonored: Definitive Edition (packed with additional content), Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider and Prey are available within the bundle on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with a massive 70 percent launch week discount on Xbox and PC until August 11th. The most generous offer, however, is made on PC through Steam. On top of Arkane’s aforementioned games, the Steam bundle also includes Arx Fatalis and Might & Magic: Dark Messiah.

Prey was another brilliant experience by the studio, although the game doesn’t have anything in common with its 2006 predecessor from Human Head Studios. Arkane’s game belongs to a completely original universe where humanity faces an alien threat of shape-shifting Typhons. Last but not least, Might & Magic: Dark Messiah is among the most vibrant and entertaining action games with an emphasis on acrobatic melee combat and swordplay in fantasy medieval setting, while Arx Fatalis includes one of the most original spell casting systems ever in an RPG.
Judging by the surprise announcement of Arkane 20th Anniversary Collection, Bethesda Softworks could be preparing to start a promotional campaign for Deathloop by reminding the existing fans and newcomers of its exciting portfolio of video games. Even if that's not the case, the bundle is still a wonderful way to experience some of the best titles of the past two decades. Both Dishonored and Prey are emblematic of Arkane’s distinctive style, which is capable of turning a casual player into a devoted fan.
Arkane 20th Anniversary Collection is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
