See AllI'm Convinced Captain America: Brave New World's Negative Reviews Are Wrong, Even Though I Think It's The Worst Captain America Movie
Seen it. Some spoilers below so avoid if you haven't seen it.
The movie overall feels like a case of horrible writing. I had no problem with Anthony and the acting in general but the story was just the most anticlimactic bunch of events I've ever seen. Some wokeness perceived in the only major white guy being a goofball sidekick lackey who gets injured before the major scenes but i cut them some slack since the show is about CA and not sidekicks and it didn't go overboard trying to send a subliminal message.
Some decent action scenes but almost nothing Anthony does really affects any of the outcome of the story. 90 percent of it would have happened whether he showed up or not. No real encounter with BBEG to stop him. Even red hulk appearance was laughable. It's like they realized how laughable a non serumed CA would be at fighting a hulk and had to quickly resort to some boring anticlimactic methods in order to close the movie. The appearance of a red hulk was nothing more than a ticket selling ploy and made the story barely cohesive enough to have a workable plot. How could they suggest that non serum human could fight a hulk when Thor and the avengers together had trouble together.
I leaving the theater and I couldn't even the BBEG name. That's how much of a non factor and lack of screen time he plays. If i can do that in a marvel film there's definitely something wrong with the film.
D&D 2024 Cutting An Iconic Variant Rule Is One Of Its Best Decisions
Flanking doesn't benefit ranged? Why should it if they don't want to close in
It's risk versus reward. Also the range guy is usually the one able to flee first when things go wrong.
"Not Everyone Needs To Be White": How To Train Your Dragon’s Live-Action Casting & Lore Change Unpacked By Director After Astrid Backlash
Way too soon for a live action anyway. Just another Disney money grab. Since their running out of content to make bad sequels for now we have lose the magic and try to make poor live action films. I could care less race of Astrid it would honestly be hard to not find an oversexualized version and Nico is not a bad actress. I just wish Disney would spend more money trying to make new content than rehashing the past.
Zelda May Never Be Truly Non-Linear Again, And That's For The Best
More excuse for terrible story and lack of character progression.
Totk was a fun sandbox but didn't belong with a Zelda title. Some linearity gives the character a sense of things happening and what they do matter. None is just boring progression.
