This is an embarrassing choice. As a player of every game I wouldn't even watch a show or movie if he was cast. While Kratos is dull and of very few words he at least expresses intelligence and a deep seeded emotion. Richter embodies none of that. I can think of a dozen actors that would fit the character of Kratos better. This feels like an incredible reach for an underwhelming actor.

Both this critic and the other viewers need to pay more attention, this is a stand alone series, it is not a 2nd season of the 2023 TV series which may actually get a season 2. This is season 1 of Goosebumps: Vanishing. It is 8n no way connected to the aforementioned series.

That being said I find this article to be just a bunch of gobbly goop. I'm not sure what exactly you were looking for. I'm not so sure you are a Sci-fi lover.
