I think that doing this would improve the films as well. It would add a new layer to live-action Batman films, which went from having a super happy tone in the 1990s...to choosing the gloomier and heavier tone.

I appreciate the humor from the comics that the MCU intentionally incorporates into films--and I agree that it would get audience , both fans and casual watchers, to see the character (as an observant, witty human being) more fully.
