See AllI Can’t Believe This Ruthless CBS Update Following The Cancelation Of NCIS: Hawai’i
I will not watch NCIS: Origins. I have watched probably every NCIS since the JAG episode it spun off from. I watched NCIS: NOLA and am still unhappy that it was canceled, but they'd had a fair run. I watched NCIS spinoff pilots and liked them, but a failed pilot does not lead to commitment. I watched NCIS: LA through all its episodes and miss it, but at least they had a good run. I was thrilled when LL Cool J appeared in NCIS: Hawaii and hoped he'd be a permanent addition. I am watching NCIS: Sydney and liking it very much as the characters are growing on me in their roles.
I watch shows for their characters. I like it when the stories make a modicum of sense, but character-driven shows keep my attention because I grow to like them, which is a tribute to the actors who create them.
I am furious that CBS canceled Hawaii without warning, dropped a cliffhanger on its head, and threw away a strong, skilled cast and crew. Even if CBS had "good" reasons, I will not ever watch the Origins thing because I do not care! It wasn't fair to anyone, most of all casts, crews, and audiences.
CBS, PLEASE REINSTATE NCIS: Hawai'i!
I Am More Baffled About NCIS: Hawai'i's Cancelation After CBS' New Procedural Show Revival
Being retired, I have the luxury of streaming all of the NCIS series. I hated that CBS canceled N'Awlins, but I am outraged at canceling Hawaii. The characters are deeply developed, and the writing is top-tier. I cannot understand why CBS made this particular dumb mistake, but I call loudly for them to reverse it. The audience deserves it, and the cast and crew deserve it. CBS, own up and undo this.
