I’m glad you made your comment about the Dalton films. They were not at all goofy and lighthearted, and that’s something I really enjoyed about them. Still, I believe Goldeneye is a very solid Bond film, although not the best. But it’s certainly Brosnan’s best. For me, the best Bond films are Goldfinger (I think Connery is the best Bond), Casino Royale, and From Russia With Love.
