See AllPlanet Of The Apes' New Trilogy Update Is A Relief After $397 Million Sequel
I'm sorry I just wasn't feeling Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. It was dry & stale. The timeline didn't justify the movie but yet we see Ceaser being burned as in ape tradition out to sea. Why not let Cornelius take over from his father? Maybe because Andy Serkis personified the role playing Ceaser so darn well in the first three movies as in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War of the Planet of the Apes. It's very hard for me to see another actor in that role. He is the entire franchise. I guess one can say just like Roddy McDowall playing Cornelius in the original 60's version. They concept for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was a thought that didn't need to happen. Sure they followed a path how man and Ape differ with the Apes now ruling and fighting against a warlord leader. They really need to bring Andy Serkis back or else that franchise will be over before it even started!
