JD as a ing character?? Well that's your opinion and I guess you're stuck with it. Personally JD was the driving force of POTC, and without him as the main character, it's just a run of the mill pirate movie. Just NO.

NONONONONO...NO. No JD, NO Pirates. The other characters won't make up for not having JD in the movie at all. Either get JD to do it, or just don't do it.
