Wicked
I immediately got a rascist vibe watching the movie even if a black woman was not playing Elphaba, I would have felt the same way. And I felt that way about the poor animals too. All because they are different, just like today...But, I enjoyed all the wonderful acting and singing AND dancing!! That was of course, because of the wonderful talents of Cynthia Erivo and Ariande Grande! The parts were meant for them!

See AllReport On The Rings Of Power's Future Shows Amazon's 5-Season Plan Is Too Big To Fail
Im excited to see all 5 seasons of this series. As i said b4. Im in it for the "entertainment" factor. I read all of the Harry Potter books b4 I saw thd movies and realized that they did not follow the books. But the movies still entertained me. All the action, magic, landscapes, story line was good enough to keep me ready for more. Same with Rings of Power. Im in it til the end, i thoroughly enjoy the series as do my Family and Friends and the majority of them have not read the books either. So do I watch a movie that is "loosely based on books" and be entertained or worry about it how it follows the books? Mine is the "entertainment factor".
Report On The Rings Of Power's Future Shows Amazon's 5-Season Plan Is Too Big To Fail
I sure hope so! I am very much interested in how all the characters are going to come together and defeat Sauron after they find out who he is...I love the different stories that are going on and the battles. Ive never read Lord of the Rings nor the Hobbit, but i did see all the movies and am quite interested in seeing all the Rings of Power shows until its completion. The acting is subperb and the battle scenes are well played out. The special effects blend in very well with the acting and I will stay until the end, promoting the series to all of my Family and friends...
