People take tv shows way to seriously. A tv show is entertainment, its not meant to be a game plan on how to live your life. Case in point; the Donna Reed show. Rory herself found out what a HUGE roll Ms Reed played in the whole show from beginning to end and learned an important lesson herself. Stop analyzing the #&*& out of everything.
