This is my personal opinion from an og gears fan… I’ve played all the campaigns (including judgement and ultimate edition) I have 3 reasons this could be a great move on the developer’s behalf. 1st reviving the old fan base and bring a newer audience that hadn’t played the originals to see the potential this game has and all the life left in it. This could be a great step at getting the fan base back interested into the series for the 6th gears to have a chance in this new era….2nd The Erie and grim aesthetic gives them the chance to see what the originals did right so they can implement them into the 6th gears is a fantastic idea! 3rd giving them a new chance to make a multiplayer mode with great old characters that they can then implement into the 6th game is also another great step…. All in all I feel like this will give the coalition a chance to take the old GOW put a spin on it and implement it into the Gears title
