Lol to be fair Natasha Irons (Steel) has existed since 1994. She's not some new character and wasn't meant to replace the original Steel or was created to push some political agenda. She's just a young sidekick version like Robin, Batgirl, Kid Flash, Speedy and many other former or current of Teen Titans.

I like Steel and everything but I don't think the character should be compared to the Hulk. Doesnt make much sense. Iron man is more fitting if you want to compare. Like Green arrow vs Hawkeye, Flash vs Quicksilver, Aquaman vs Namor etc

I think deep down they know Shazam would take Superman down but because Superman is the golden boy and flagship superhero of DC they can't afford to it this. Shazam was bought out by DC to contain his popularity and not affect the various marketable ($$$$$) avenues that's already been built off of Superman and he became an American iconic character known internationally. To demote Superman is almost like demoting America and we all know that's NOT up for discussion lol. Don't get me wrong I love Superman but something about Shazam always seemed to have this magical (pun intended) gravitational pull towards me. Anyways Superman will always win and that's just what it is. Let's move on now :)
