One minor nitpick, Chthon (in the MCU) is the first demon, not simply a dark wizard. The "physical" copies of the Darkhold that we see are simply translations of Chthon's grimoire, carved into the very rock of Mount Wundagore itself.

I agree, overall, with your take, but I would suggest giving credit where it is due. Cretton is a fine director and I'm sure he will leave his mark on Spider-man 4, but the kudos for Shang-Chi's fight and action scenes should rightly go to Chris Cowan (stunt coordinator, action designer, and second unit director). Cowan has the ability to make action sequences feel truly dynamic. This omission is only made worse with the knowledge that many of the ScreenRant staff are avid Corridor Crew fans, so Cowan should be a very known quantity in that respect (due to his frequent appearances on the couch).
