Val Kilmer moved me emotionally up and down the scale as his Doc Holiday character like no other in the Film Industry at the present time. Such a gifted artist and actor. I can think only think of one actor who has had the talent to move me so emotionally, that's Paul Newman in "Cool Hand Luke", now that's entertainment! "A God given talent" both had. But, only one received the accolades,

disrespected and destroyed by the Industry's awards clique. Sad and shameful decision by those who could care less about bruising someone's soul.

Using the shot cup as a prop to play down the tension in the saloon was pure genius. And, Val Kilmer locked in character, made Doc Holiday's performance nothing short of spectacular! Pure, rare and magical, never to be sured. As was every scene involving Doc Holiday. Oscar performance!
