I honestly don't see any of the Cosmere properties getting a proper adaptation ever. More recent books have really been pushing for a larger expanded universe that will need to interconnect. It's just not going to work when you get further into a series and a bunch of characters just drop in from other books he's written with no real background or explanation. Plus, why are we talking about a Stormlight Archive adaptation when he's nowhere near finishing the book series? That's a big lesson anyone should have taken from Game of Thrones.
