The last season of the Umbrella Academy was awful. Six episodes was not enough to finish Hargreeves story, and a better story to end the last season should have been told. I think Netflix and the writters mailed in this final season. It was so dissapointing.

The Umbrella Academy season 1-3 were fantastic however, this last season had to be the worst. I cannot believe the ended the series on a such very short sour note in my opinion.

I think that you make some very good points in this article however, you should read Darth Plaguis as the last few chapters of the book furthers details Plaguis & Palpatine's plan. The book provides an excellent glimpse into how good Palpatine really was at being a puppet master. Based on the book the initial plan was Plaguis's plan but Palpatine wanted to speed up the plan to become the grand chancellor. Adding the insight would give a better perspective into Palpatine and Plaguis's true plan.
