James Gunn Confirming A DC Universe Teen Titans Movie Is In Progress Is Genuinely My Dream Come True
It won't be the same without a Stan Lee cameo... 🤣🤣🤣
Marvel Just Doubled Down On The MCU's Biggest Iron Man 2 Retcon
And eventually they'll have a nitpickers guide to fhs MCU, if they don't already.
Yoda Broke One Of The Jedi's Most Sacred Rules During The Clone Wars (& It's What Led To The Order's Fall)
Kinda difficult to mourn their loss under the oppressive regime of the Empire and the propaganda pronouncing them to be traitors and that anyone helping them is also a traitor. People that mourned their absence either were quiet about it for self preservation, or ed the rebellion.
I've Said It Before And I'll Say It Again - Avengers: Endgame Destroyed The MCU
I agree that Marvel has a high bar to clear with Doomsday and Secret Wars, and ironically even if they manage to do that people are still going to belabor how they flopped the multiverse. Even if all the threads tie together neatly and beautifully into the final masterpiece it will probably still cruise right over the heads of 90% of internet warriors.
They probably should have slowed the pace rather than diving hard into phase 4 and 5 but I can understand why they wanted to strike while the iron was hot.
I feel like a lot of 4 and 5 was about showing various fallout from Endgame and the snap, and it's interesting but honestly I feel they could have kept most of that to grounded Disney+ shows for the invested fans who want to chew on every morsel of lore they can get and make the movies bigger focused. I loved many of the Disney+ shows, but I agree they shouldn't have glossed over them for the people who didn't watch them in the follow up movies like Multiverse of Madness etc...
Keep Disney+ shows on grounded topics like Hawkeye and Falcon and keep meta concepts like Loki (even though it was done beautifully) to the big screen. Let's be honest, Loki is a phenomenal series, but it could have easily been a phenomenal movie, too (with a bit of fluff and extra edited, I doubt many but the most dedicated fans would watch an 8 hour+ film)
I’m Convinced The MCU Is Setting Up To Make Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Into The Ridiculously Powerful Multiverse Avengers Leader He Is In 1 Major Marvel Comic Story
I thought about this as well, and I think they could take it all one step further. What's the biggest problem with the multiverse concept? Infinite variations mean somewhere in the multiverse is a solution to every problem that can be solved, thus being able to navigate the multiverse limits the impact of any issue involving a single universe.
I think the TVA was the right direction with insufficient power due to the limitations of Kang (He Who Remains) himself and his own desire for control. Introduce the God of Stories Loki and now we can begin to build the TVA as it should have been. A multiversal police force recruiting the strongest variants that breach the multiverse and protect each unique universe from outsiders like Kang, Dr. Doom, and Wanda. MVA maybe, MultiVersal Avengers.
They have already hinted that the Watcher will be revealed in First Steps, and he's already begun assembling a team of heroes to build around, combine his knowledge and abilities to oversee the multiverse with Loki and the TVA's ability to navigate it and an Avengers level team to police it and you've got the seeds for a MCU multiverse in which each unique universe is protected from incursions and outsider threats. Powerful variants that grow to navigate the multiverse can be recruited or dealt with as they make themselves known.
One Original Member Of The X-Men Is Impossible After Captain America: Brave New World
Of course this is likely irrelevant as x-men are probably not going to be involved before the reboot, except possibly in Secret Wars but then all bets are off whether they're good or bad.
X-Men Is Coming To The MCU Sooner Than You Think, According To Brad Winderbaum
I'm calling it now, if Disney includes the original X-men team for Secret Wars Deadpool is going to comment on how cheap Fox was, again xD
Jack Sparrow Returning In Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 Would Confirm A Big Problem With The $4.5 Billion Franchise
It's not really a question of whether they can or cannot, it's a question of whether any future story that doesn't at least include a cameo appearance of Sparrow has any chance of being accepted by existing fans.
Personally I think Depp's run as a primary character in the story is played out, but Jack Sparrow still has some stories to tell, and it could be fun to show a younger Sparrow, before he was famous.
Alternatively they could do something like they did in Ghostbusters, introduce a whole new generation with cameo/ appearances from the original cast. There's plenty of story left to tell of Will, Jack, Elizabeth and Barbosa, but nobody said they have to be the main characters. If anything they should be put on the legends pedestal and used accordingly. You know things are going to go sideways when any of them appear
I Wish Harrison Ford Had Kept 1 Key Part Of Thunderbolt Ross’ Character In Captain America: Brave New World
They had a wild hair to chase 🤣🤣🤣
Captain America: Brave New World's RT Audience Score Is The Same As The MCU's Record-Breaking $206M Box Office Bomb
Well, if you've spoken to 5000+ people about it, maybe there's something there. If not then you're just looking at a sample size challenge.
I Can't Forgive Iron Man For Starting The MCU's Secret Identity Problem That's Still Too Much Of A Thing In 2025
As technology continues to progress the concept of maintaining a high profile secret identity becomes more and more difficult to believe. At least without outside . Osborne and Peter's friends learning his identity are always inevitable, learning it so early is actually refreshing and allows them to focus on the incredible rogues gallery building up around him.
Daredevil seriously stretches belief with keeping his identity secret for as long as he does. Honestly Marvel has a tradition of playing fast and loose with secret identities, when they bother with them at all. DC is more about protecting the heroes identity and often goes to absurd extremes. Most of the heroes currently in the MCU aren't well known for having an alter ego, and some of those that do, never really needed them in the first place.
Captain America: Brave New World Makes Hugh Jackman’s MCU Wolverine Future Less Likely For A Simple Reason
You people always want to forget that there's almost no mutants in the MCU, for what reason would thry create Wolverine without his fabled healing powers. Even assuming the person is alive at this time, since Logan suggests that he's been kicking around for 200 years, and without healing MCU (Earth 616) Logan probably resides in a pine box somewhere. Bringing any of the mutants into the current MCU without the multiverse would be terrible, at least prior to Secret War. After Secret War all bets are off.
Back To The Future Part III Hilariously Called Out The First Movie's Most Famous Easter Egg
/back-to-the-future-3-lone-pine-tree-easter-egg-factoid/?post=2561-4c1d-aa34fd0bc3b3#thread-posts
Or is it simply a new timeline, in which the Marty from then 1985 actually goes and crashes into the only remaining pine and the mall is renamed again... XD the entire series is a paradox, from the moment something changed in the past and the future/present was altered.
Fortunately we weren't as well schooled in time travel theory back then, though we definitely asked a lot of the same questions 😅🤣
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Ruined a Piece of Shadow, But There Is a Way to Fix It?
Shadow was always of alien origins, they just simplified him bscause it has -never- made sense for Gerald Robotnik to bio engineer alien dna into a fecking hedgehog while trying to develop a cure for Maria. They could have done a better job with the how and why Maria dies, sure, they created a very superficial reason for Shadow to have a grudge against GUN and Commander Walters specifically.
Turning Shadow into an alien simply byes having to explain how Gerald acquired alien DNA to experiment with, and for what reason, with no exposure to Sonic, did he create a hedgehog that resembles the Blue Blur in any scope.
MCU Adamantium vs. Vibranium Explained: 6 Biggest Differences
I seem to recall there being a pure primal form of adamantium in the comics, which was stronger than the traditional adamantium. Maybe Tiamut is composed of this more pure form of adamantium to give rise to one of the original cap shields.
That being said, I don't think there's any chance of it being used to bring in Wolverine or the rest, however it could be critical to defeating Doom. I'm half expecting Wanda to be the key to fixing battleworld in Secret War, possibly playing reverse to when she eliminated the mutants. I think that would be a nice way to explain the MCU in general, as the universe created by the no more mutants curse. Would explain so much.
11 Years Later, Scott Bakula's Enterprise Paid Off A Riker Reference From Star Trek: The Next Generation
They need a 'Henry' system, with 8 planets. 🤣🤣🤣
Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom Gets His MCU Origin Story In Twisted Iron Man 4 Concept Trailer
This trailer means literally nothing for the MCU and I wish you people would stop theorizing about the low hanging fruit. These theories assume that the creative staff for the MCU are incapable of seperating Victor Von Doom from Tony Stark for the sole reason that they're played by the same actor. Either you've been watching Iron Man played by Sherlock Holmes and Dr Doolittle or you should maybe have a little faith that they can make a distinctly different character out of Victor Von Doom. Keep in mind that many of the Doom variants have disfiguring scars, so it's not even a stretch to suggest that Victor Von Doom and Tony Stark may look very little alike, even without the mask.
I’m Convinced Kang’s MCU Debut Failed Because It Broke 1 Major Writing Rule
One of the things that makes Kang the conqueror powerful is his ability to time travel, which was impossible while trapped in the quantum realm. This means even with all his other powers unlocked, he was still fighting at less than half strength, and still came close to destroying three Ant Men, Wasp an entire army including super advanced ants, and Janet who is a force unto herself. He Who Remains proved how impressive he could be without ever throwing a punch of any kind, simply by knowing how things play out.
The sin committed here is that they used different media to show parts of his strength independently, and didn't reinforce it. They should have included some significant displays of his full might in Quantumania, by flashback or preface, but they did not.
Maybe they planned to do something showcasing how powerful he was in a future movie to further show hoe powerful the Kang council is, but that probably will never happen now. Maybe we'll get some follow up in Doomsday, as terminating the council is a great way to capitalise on Kang's buildup and bring in Doom at the same time, but only time will tell.
What Happened To The Avengers After Endgame (& Why Sam Doesn’t Want To Bring Them Back)
Ant Man escapes the quantum realm at the end of quantumania. As stated, people still know Spiderman, Parker no longer exists. We know that Cap Marvel is still working with Fury, and Ms Marvel is working on the young avengers team. Thor is training Love. Odds are he or she will end up coming back at some point. There's also plenty of new folk either currently active or soon to be introduced.
Shang Chi, Wang (Dr Strange is in the dark dimension) White Vision, Abomination, Red Hulk, She Hulk, Daredevil, Hawkeye, Star Lord (is on Earth and quite probably will get involved), the current Black Panther (Shuri), honestly there's quite a lot and that's just including the ones we know about and can reasonably expect to show up for tryouts. That's even excluding the entire cast of Thunderbolts*.
Cyclops Gets Nerfed as Marvel Introduces a Weakness It Cannot Take Back
I can't imagine quartz armor being terribly durable, even ruby quartz. This armor is virtually useless against anyone that isn't Scott Summers, and probably worse than useless as it's most likely quite brittle and heavier than ideal. Even just any normal person with an average gun would have no problems.
That said, an exceptional warrior wearing it would still be exceptional, and if Scott were alone it would serve it's purpose, since I doubt his martial prowess would alloe him to take down multiple trained assailants by himself, or deal suffient damage to the armor swiftly enough to make a difference in the fight.
So yes, if the goal is explicitly to neuter Scott and Scott alone (or theoretically his brother, since apparently his abilities are also blocked by the quartz) , it's a weakness akin to Superman's kryptonite allergy. Add just about anyone else to the equation however and it becomes more of a temporary nuisance.
