See AllMobLand Season 1, Episode 2 Review: I’m Growing Tired Of The Lack Of Stakes In Tom Hardy's Stylish Crime Series
Im enjoying it. People are so impatient. It's the 2nd episode. You're asking questions that are still to be addressed in the storyline. I think you're missing the part of the story where an all out war between the two main parties is on the cards, there's obviously a traitor in the Harrigan camp (My guess is the grandmother is an informant). Tom Hardys character is trying to figure that out without getting himself in trouble. We obviously start the show at a point where these gangs have had tension and been in their respective power struggle for some time. And we come to them at a point where the older generation is also dealing with their own age an legacy worries, internal politics of family all making their own moves here and there. Some people are delicate in their approach while others have seemingly no regard for consequences.
This is, to me, typical of the directors style and I anticipate it get a little messy and complicated as characters interact before it all starts to come clear. I don't think we're meant to fully understand things yet at this stage. It wouldn't bee very interesting if we did. I'd stick with it. Try and enjoy it for what it is and not be too quick to nit pick and complain. If by the 8th episode nothings happening then maybe but let's get introduced to all the characters first.
