See All12 Far Side Pranks You'll Be Glad You're Not On the Wrong Side Of
"Reading" these delightful Larson creations each day resulted in my purchasing the entire collection from Amazon ... a decision I will never regret. I can open one of the three volumes at any place and enjoy a few moments of snickering and then downright guffawing. Thank you, Gary Larson!
10 Far Side Comics Where Snakes Are Disturbingly Human
Loved this collection...but a question: perhaps the name of the pub in cartoon #3 would have been better as "The Pit"...just a thought. The talent of the artist in all of his creations is awesome!
13 Far Side New Year's Day Comics To Start 2025 Off With A Laugh
More good ones from Mr. Larson. I giggled at #6 with the poetrait of a cow in the wall. Perfect!
The Far Side: 10 Hilarious Comics Involving Everyone's Favorite Chickens
Another offering of very funny cartoons. However (and I do not mean this comment to be rude), I think intelligent folks who see the cartoons do not actually need your written explanation of the situation. The "beauty" of a cartoon is that it speaks for itself.
The Last 10 Calvin and Hobbes Comics, Explained (How Did Bill Watterson Say Goodbye To His Beloved Characters?)
What memories the final strips have recalled. As I read through them, I ed when I saw them the "first time around" and how much I enjoyed each day's strip. When I reached the final one, just as I did when I read it the first time those years ago, the grin was there, along with the tears. I so loved Calvin and Hobbes. Thanks for "replaying" the strips for those of us who hold fond memories of years past.
Why The Far Side's "Dog With Gun" Comic (And Its "Sequel") Illustrate Gary Larson's Favorite "Animals Turning the Tables On Humans" Trope Better Than Any Other
This will sound strange, but each Larson cartoon in which bovines are included, they are inevitably Holsteins. Since I was born and raised in America's Dairyland (Wisconsin), Holsteins are favored for their excellent milk and high butterfat content. So, of course, Larson's "cow" cartoons remind me of my birthplace. I guess there could be worse things of which to be reminded......and I always get a big laugh, too.
