I disagree the newer ones perhaps but it's not always been that way.

Saying they're just for kids is also incorrect bc we all grew up with them.

Avengers endgame wasn't rly made for kids as it had far-reaching consequences in its own universe. The one thing I'll say is that dcs not tried the deletion theory in a movie setting per se the closes we have has was crisis on infinite worlds from arrowverse which tied into the movies albeit very loosely.

They being dc hero's really do have no grey area of wrong and right, there has been a few situations where batman has ventured to the grey but ultimately he's always back stepped to the default, it's kind of sad now I think on it as he's the only one that's fine that due yo his unique background and story.
