Came here to say basically that. It's not so much that the multiverse can't be messed with, just that only one set of causalities keeps all the OTHER kangs from conquering more than they should ( or trying to, because it would destroy the multiverse). I'm actually really disappointed that they had to pivot. The Kang we saw wasn't really Kang the conqueror. What came next would have been awesome
