Though not explained on screen, some books explained the speeds above warp10. In the 23rd century, the scale was open ended, by the 24th century, the scale became a tangent scale with an asymptote at Warp 10; sometimes with a second transwarp scale starting at10 for speeds above 9.99. 9.99 = 10, 9.999 =11, etc.

There was no reason Shinzon should have acted like Picard in any way. He had none of Picard's memories or upbringing, and was conditioned to be more like a Romulan than a human.

The biggest problem with Shinzon was the baldness. Young Picard was consistently shown with a full head of brown hair

Honestly, I rate RE low because it has damn near nothing to do with the source material, though if you ignore that it's supposed to be based on the gam, it stands as a fair action-horror flick.

Seems like other people using a device in a way it was never intended can't be blamed on the original builder. Otherwise the inventor of the ship mounted phaser is responsible for Maquis terrorism and the inventor of the photon torpedo assassinated Chancellor Gorkon.
