As someone who worked in visual effects all through the late 80's and early 90's, I would love to see the exterior visuals of The Last Starfighter updated, not changed but simply re-rendered to current cinema quality. Then I'd pay to see it in a theater again, and buy it on blu-ray. Then I'd be happy to see the sequel, if it's good.
