I loved the Dead zone. One of my all-time favorite movies. They also made a great series out of it on USA Network with Anthony Michael Hall. I never missed an episode. My favorite King movie was probably Christine and also Pet cemetery, which scared the hell out of me. His stand was quite good too. On the flip side, maximum overdrive was horrible.

I was wondering the exact same thing. I've watched every episode of all three seasons because I like the show. But I still really don't understand what that migrant family had to do with anything.
