I think it is ridiculous to say there are to many. In my opinion when the list of Omega level came out. I thought it wasn't enough. It's millions of mutants to only have 14 never added up the math wasn't mathing. The krakoa age also started secondary mutation with mutants being brought back by the 5. I think having more omegas makes for more compelling stories.
