I've owned all movies in the trilogy in addition to Animatrix. Watched them all many many times. I understand that they pretty much had to move the drama outside the Matrix and incapacitate Neo in some regard to keep the tension up, same goes for buffing Agent Smith. However I could happily watch Neo win fights to a booming 90s track all day long. There is so much innovation in all three movies. So much detail.

Last movie I've heard you need to give a second chance for different reasons than the pure action. It's supposed to be clever in its own way, according to critics. Only ever seen that once though.

I sold my entire movie collection for the second time in my life after DVDs, first time was all my VHS tapes. Been moving a lot and noticed for a few rare exceptions. You don't rewatch movies as much as you did in your youth. I'd commit movies I love to memory and I'd know every beat and line. I didn't start again on Blu-Ray or 4K UHD. Mostly stream these days.
