American Primeval
I grew up with shows like Gunsmoke, Bonaza and Wagon Train; and though very poplar with audiences, they created an unrealistic and sanitized version of what it was like to live in the untamed west. American Primeval doesn't hold back; and though some may find the violence too brutal, it causes one to ponder some serious thought provoking questions (like, how DOES one handle a compound fracture when out in the middle of nowhere).
Would have liked to have seen certain characters survive, for a possible sequel. Overall, a very good series. ππΌππΌ

Saving Private Ryan
The BEST war movie ever...BAR NONE!. The fact that it lost out to little known Shakespeare In Love for Best Picture is, in my opinion, the BIGGEST Oscar travesty in Hollywood history!

See AllIf You Loved Band Of Brothers, Watch Jacob Elordi's Epic New 100% RT WWII Show Inspired By Real Experiences
Have not seen "...Deep North" yet, and as such cannot make an objective comparison to what i consider the BEST tv series ever produced (B.o.B). Am looking forward to watching it; however I am curious as to the disparity between the RT scores (critics...100%; audiences...63%). Makes me wonder.
Tom Hanks' War Movie With 78% RT Score Gets Surprise Sequel Update As Filming Start & Plot Details Revealed
I've seen this movie at least 6 or 7 times, and could watch it another 6 or 7. I was especially amazed at the authentic use of Naval commands throughout the screening (I'm retired US Navy). I only wish that Apple TV would come to their senses and allow Greyhound to be released on DVD video.
Val Kilmer's Iceman Return In Top Gun: Maverick Was The Biggest Reason The Movie Worked So Brilliantly
Ditto, ditto...DITTO! A perfect 10 in all aspects. The Iceman/Maverick scene, not only the glue that cemented that fantastic movie, but a perfect send-off for a great actor (Kilmer).
