His real life career change into becoming a lawyer could be leveraged to turn his character Doug into the new Ted, as Sam Lloyd ed away a couple years ago and obviously will not be reprising his role as the hospital attorney. Ted and Doug had very similar quirks and personalities on the show and even at one time we're part of rival Brain trust factions.

KOTOR is too in depth for a single movie. Maybe over a trilogy it could work, but I think maybe a modern system remake, with voiceover for the main character (Reeves and a few others for the various customizable options) would be more ideal.
