Chronicles of Narnia is a difficult franchise to bring to set, specifically because it spans the entire existence of that realm, and unlike franchise like LoTR, most Narnia books are completely stand-alone works, with entirely new characters.

So, keeping viewers interested in a story that is constantly changing characters, will always be a challenge.
