BUT...I STILL think that they should have figured out (maybe they have??) a way to have Chenoweth and Menzel appear in the finale to sing "For Good"...perhaps as a much-older/wiser Glinda and Elphaba.

Erivo and Grande MIGHT be fine...(Grande's usually too much of a little girl playing dress up...) but Chenoweth and Elphaba will ALWAYS be Glinda and Elphaba, even to non-hard-core Broadway fans who have become familiar with them in the last 20 years...

It would just be nice.

Elphaba doesn't sing in "No One Mourns the Wicked" because...well...ding dong, she's dead.

Hence...the mourning. Or lack thereof...
