George Costanza? Urkel? Really? George’s father, Frank, (Jerry Stiller) was far more hilarious and overall a better character. Kelsey Grammer never altered his character throughout the entire run of Frasier. I respectfully disagree with many of his selections. Julia Louis Dreyfuss as Selena Meyer in ‘Veep’ should have been higher up the list.

Parenthood was nowhere as well written, edgy and original as The Gilmore Girls was. Parenthood is sickeningly west coast while the Gilmores are small town East Coast. Other than the last season of the Gilmores, one can’t even compare these two shows. Parenthood was an overlong yawn fest. The Gilmores gave us six seasons of mostly superior, high quality television.

Great show, under appreciated, excellent cast and semi regulars added to the show as well. I’m a big fan of the Heck family of Orson Indiana, their ups, downs, in betweens and struggles. Superbly written and well acted all the way around.
