I'm confused about why there are so many words to say something that most people don't see as a problem? What else could they do once the sisters were confirmed as not appearing?

Sidney has always been the heart of the series and will continue to be. Her not being in Scream 6 was the worst decision ever. Pay her everything she wants, give her a daughter, and move on.
