See All10 Things About Supernatural Everyone Always Gets Wrong
Destiel is canon and it's concerning how many people still refuse accepting that fact. Not only was it recently (Not the first time anyway) confirmed that Castiel's "I love you" at the end IS romantic, Misha Collins has been actively playing Castiel in love with Dean since around the half of the 14th season when they planned Castiel's ending in s15. Dean's side of the coin is the more debatable part, however, we can find several points in the show that simply have no heterosexual explanation. The simpliest one would propably be the mixtape he gave to Cas. Not only is the act itself of crafting a mixtape for someone considered romantic, Dean used songs from a band that his parents fell in love to. He also added two "XX" at it, which is a slang for kisses. It's almost silly how people refuse this. If Castiel were a woman, they would never doubt their love. Though, if Castiel were a woman, Dean would just sleep with her and ran away and they would nevet be as close. Perhaps that's why they are perfect for eachother.
