See AllIf You're Missing Westworld After HBO Canceled It, Watch Apple TV+'s New 97% RT Sci-Fi Robot Show
So far I've been underwhelmed, it would do better with longer episodes IMO
"I'm Not A Big Fan": James Cameron's Review Of The Worst Terminator Movies Explains Where It All Went Wrong
I think I must be the only person who liked Dark Fate. It's been a while since I watched it but I don't recall the explanation of Arnie getting older - seemed silly but maybe it was to blend in. Anyway I think calling it nostalgic is probably about right, it had been that long since the last good Terminator movie which was T2. IMO T2 and Aliens are the two best sci-fi sequels ever. I'll throw in The Empire Strike Back as a third although I know many consider that sci-fantasy.
10 Sci-Fi Movies That No One Talks About & Should Have Been Way More Popular
Ad Astra was massively over hyped making it sound epic and profound when it was just kind of lame with a completely implausible stunt for the ending. If I recall the initial reviews panned it and people stopped going to see it. I almost didn't bother myself.
1 Storyline In The Pitt Made Me So Angry At Dr. Robby & His Failure
It is an extremely common theme of police and medical procedurals that characters do the wrong thing. If they just followed the carefully honed rules of engagement and procedures they would be very boring and predictable. Rogue behavior gives them unpredictable plotlines and edge.
And to the person that says women are just as flawed as men - that may be true - but the point is men get a huge free . We tolerate men being responsible for 80% of all violent crime in the US without a second thought. So the difference in treatment of the two characters response to a make making death threats to women is highly relevant and telling.
The 5 Best Picture Oscar Winners Of The 2020s, Ranked Worst To Best
These lists are always highly subjective and best picture pics are often polarizing with reactions of love, hate, or indifference. I didn't love EEAAO and it was clearly a movie style and genre that many have no interest in. Ditto for Anora.
The Oscars as a pure popularity contest becomes a real problem unless there is one picture which is clearly broadly appealing. I guess those years there wasn't and it was just a show down among movies with more niche audiences.
Why The Rotten Tomatoes Score For Robert De Niro's New Netflix Show Is So Low
I haven't watched enough episodes to comment on its plausibility, but I have watched enough to know a certain segment will turn off at the first mention of blaming Russia or homegrown white nationalist terrorists. About half the US population which explains the low score - and those people probably aren't going to finish watching it. I guess I know there's more twists to come and hence I'll keep watching.
PS. The zero day exploit aspect is totally plausible. Just how ubiquitous it would be is debatable but there have certainly been exploits that are applicable to a very wide set of device types - now exploring them to install malware that is not detected before or after the zero day event is much less plausible.
