See AllLive-Action Street Fighter Movie Removed From 2026 Release Calendar One Month After Finding New Director
No. No. No. No. NO! NO! The first one was bad enough to be good, kind of like the first Mortal Kombat. I feel this will fall into the failures of most other videogame adaptations. Most due to Uwe Boll, but Tekken, Super Mario Bros., Doom, Resident Evil, D.O.A, Need for Speed, Tomb Raider, none of these did particularly well. With Street Fighter there's a plot for each character, why they entered and their goal. How do you choose who to follow? And the game is just fighting to get to Bison. Also there's no dia the game except for smack talk at the end of the match, or special dialog between certain characters, and the cut scene at the end of the game. If you want attempt to get a single plot out of that, don't do it yourself, Get with the game creators at Capcom and hash out a story. Or follow/adapt the Street Fighter V animated TV series. I have zero hope for this movie.
Captain America: Brave New World Director's Post-Credits Scene Comments May Have Comic-Accurate Implications For 1 MCU Villain
I thought he was maybe talking about the emergence of mutants.
42 Years Later, Hulk & Thing’s Combined Form is Still One of Marvel’s Strongest Characters
I have that comic. Thing and Hluk are 2 of my favorite
How Morpheus Was Freed From The Matrix Secretly Explains Why He Believed Neo Was The One
I Neo talking with the Architect, and the Architect essentially told him that there was a flaw in the Matrix with an unbalanced equation and that Neo was the sum of that unbalanced equation, like others before him. And having learned that, I figured the escaped humans had come up with the prophecy, since it had happened multiple times over god knows how long. One of the previous ones had to have ed on that info to the freed people, before going back to the Matrix and resetting it, and just perpetuating the cycle until Neo basically became Norton and made a deal with the machines to get rid of the Agent Smith virus.
I knew nothing of the comic of Morpheus' origin. So that along with the Oracle telling him he will find the one, explains his blind faith in finding Neo, as opposed to Nemo. And in Neo. And the part where the Oracle told Neo he wasn't the one and became the one in his next life, after being reborn in the Matrix, like the story of the first one said. It was all very well done.
Kraven the Hunter Post-Credits Scene Decision Says Everything You Need To Know About Sony's Spider-Man Universe Future
It was a good choice I think. As the article alludes to, a Spider-Man universe without Spider-Man is not a Spider-Man universe. They're trying to cash in on spidey's popularity and name. Featuring his villains without him is like peanut butter with no jelly or fluff. It's nowhere near as good. Also only fans of the comics or cartoons from the 80's and beyond would have any idea who these characters are. Let alone care to see a movie about just them. Then yeah I can see where people wouldn't be interested in watching it. And the script would have to be phenomenal, and stay true to the character(s). "Hollywoodizing" or "Making it a unique story" isn't going to fly with the fans. Then the general audience isn't drawn in because it's too many cooks spoil the broth. Sony is NOT Marvel. Raimi was a fan of the comics and did the first 2 justice. Then he tried to cram too much into 3 and they went downhill from there. I've only watched 2 of the 3 Venom movies and while they did entertain for the most part, they weren't "Venom". He was missing the history with Peter, the large white spider on his chest, and just credibility in general. It felt like the wish version of Venom. Sony needs to give back their Marvel properties and just do the cartoons.
