See AllSouth Park's 2025 Comeback Plan Is Worryingly Risky After A Disappointing 2024
Your love is obvious....except a movie would excruciate the issue of looonnng breaks between episodes.
A movie would be a massive drain on the studios resources, take focus away from being on the current epoch of culture, ensuring, less content being produced. Not just content, but content of what this brand is: a tv show that is 22ish mins long.
It's also not just the idea.... It's needing to turn something abstract into something that can work for the format proximities. Not every idea, no matter how awesome, may be able to make it into an episode.
The visuals may not work, there's character conflicts that don't work, the illustrators can't illustrate the right look, etc.
